This compact multi-purpose unit is an ideal heating solution for rooms where wall space is limited. The classic design fits any décor, providing instant heat to replace cold air where exterior doors are prevalent. The multi-directional grille can be mounted in any configuration, offering increased floor plan flexibility.

Easily turn fireplace design concepts into reality with the Opti-myst Pro 1500 Built-in Electric Firebox. Install as a single-sided unit, or remove the included backer panel and convert to a see-through design that opens the view between rooms. The discrete heater completes the functionality and ensures perfect comfort in addition to the dazzling Opti-myst flame and smoke effect.

Product Detail Description

This advanced firebox uses Dimplex’s patented and award winning Opti-myst flame effect. Utilizing ultrasonic technology, this fireplace transforms ordinary water into a vapor which when combined with the LED lighting, creates the stunning illusion of smoke and dancing flames. The media tray allows you to fill it with whatever items you prefer - sticks, stones, glass, the choices are almost endless (Not included). This fireplace is designed for built-in installations that are hard-wired directly to your circuit. Unique to this firebox is the removable back panel which instantly transforms the firebox from a 1-sided to 2-sided installation. This see-through option is a wonderful way to give more than one room the added appeal and allure of a spectacular fireplace. Note: The Rear Glass Panel (GBF1500-GLASS) accessory must be purchased separately for see-thru installations.

Adding to the overall sensory experience of this firebox, the Opti-myst Pro 1500 also features an integrated sound system that adds the gentle crackling sound of a real burning fire to its life-like flame effects. A powerful, fan-forced heater has also been integrated into this fireplace and is capable of producing 4,981 BTUs to heat areas up to 400 Sq. Ft. in size. This added heat is a great way to take the chill out of your space when the colder temperatures of winter settle in. A remote control is included and operates the flames, heater and sound with the simple press of a button.
